The Sips & Bits Stroll is a monthly event hosted by The 300 Block with the aim to highlight and support local Lancaster businesses!
What: The Sips & Bits Stroll is a delightful evening of treats for your mouth, ears, and eyes! You will enjoy traveling to businesses up and down The 300 Block (and to a few other near-by hidden gems!) and receiving a free ‘bit’ of food and ‘sip’ of drink. The lineup of businesses as well as what they are serving changes each month, so you will be sure to enjoy a new variety of sips and bits each month. All the food and drink is locally sourced from the Lancaster area, so as to bring attention to some of the amazing food and drink that Lancaster has to offer!
Several of the stops typically feature free live music by local bands and each stop offers discounts of some sort to anyone participating.
When: The Sips & Bits Stroll takes place on the Third Friday of each month, starting in May and continuing through September. The event starts at 6pm and ends at 9pm.
Who: Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the Sips & Bits Stroll! Bring your grandmother, or your best friend from out-of-town. Bring your children or your coworker, the more the merrier! However, anyone who plans on tasting any of the alcoholic ‘sips’ will need to bring a valid ID.
How: To participate in the Sips & Bits Stroll you just need to purchase a ticket! This can be done in any of the participating businesses or through this online link! This is a not-for-profit event and all of the money from ticket sales is given to two local organizations: Music for Everyone and The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.
